The first part of the battle is fairly straightforward: dodge or block attacks, and get in some nice combos of your own. The best thing you can do is accept that you will lose this fight a couple of times before you win, so use the first attempts to learn the enemies' attack patterns, and learn when to block. Up next is a boss fight, and it is generally considered one of the most difficult but enjoyable fights in the game, if not the series.īefore even getting to the Boss Battle window, I will give you this piece of advice: learn to block. At the next arena-like area, jump onto the raised platforms for an AP Boost and an Orichalcum (Treasures #3-4). Equip Bond of Flame, spam Firaga, maybe use an Ether, and wrack up the experience.įollow the path through the city, opening the first chest you see for a Mythril Stone (Treasure #1), then approach the opposite corner for a Mythril Crystal (Treasure #2). ![]() This area is phenomenal for leveling up Wisdom Form.
